Update: Alpha 0.0.3
Project Daedalus: Overcharge » Devlog
Thanks to the great feedback from the initial group of testers. Alpha 0.0.3 brings with it a whole bunch of improvements, fixes and design changes. This update includes:
- Damage indicators
- Indicator for current spawning location
- Existing generators can now be added to levels (Level 4 now has a generator)
- Level's 4 and 5 have been fixed in the level select menu
- Selling has been disabled on the final waves
- Fonts have been changed
- Restart level has been added to the pause and victory menu
- Adjusted enemy movement to allow overtaking of slower enemies
- Fixed overcharge bug that kept damage doubled forever
- Added the first dialogue to the first level
- Added weapon information windows to the build menu
- Changed selection highlight to provide more feedback
- Disabled the Railgun, Missile Launcher and Generator in first level (plan to introduce them later with dialogue)
- Adjusted tutorial screen information for clarity
- Fixed build file name
- Improved explosion particle effects
- Improved missile explosion sound effect
- Added title to menu screen
- Adjusted enemy health and tower damage
- Fixed null exception in music changer
- Improved code to decrease potential errors
So as you can see, there is a whole lot that went into this one! And I'm sure I missed a few. Looking forward to the next round of feedback, seeing what has improved, and any bugs that may pop out now.
